An Act of Forgiveness

Asta Publications Announces, An Act of Forgiveness, the Highly Anticipated Children’s Book from Author, Lily L. Ratliff

Asta Publications releases, "An Act of Forgiveness," written by Lily L. Ratliff in March 2009. The paperback will be available worldwide on book retailer websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble for a suggested retail price of $12.95.

Lithonia, GA, January 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- During one of Ms Frazier’s fifth grade bible lessons on forgiveness at Noah’s Christian Academy, Caleb daydreams about being constantly bullied by the school’s gang. They began teasing him when they found out he was living in a foster home. Caleb concentrates on doing well in school and helping his favorite teacher by doing small chores for her. One day Caleb stumbles upon intruders defacing and destroying the school’s computer lab. His main tormentor, Leander is accused by the principal of being involved. However, Caleb knows the truth and has to make a decision of whether to tell the truth or get revenge. Will Caleb be able to forgive those who have abused him?

While it is at its core a story of perseverance, pain, and character building, An Act of Forgiveness is also a challenging parable about the pitfalls of moral judgment, acts of kindness, and forgiveness.

His character is tested every time he is taunted, teased, and eventually beat up by bullies of the private school he attended, but still later on forgave them.

An Act of Forgiveness is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the Children’s Fiction category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and all-encompassing online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, An Act of Forgiveness meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $12.95.

Additionally, An Act of Forgiveness can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more by visiting the author’s web site at www.thelifeofalily.com.

  1. The Act Of Forgiveness is one that is so hard. We as humans can't understand why someone we love or care about would hurt us. Then for them to lie to you about it when you comfront them makes it even harder. I know because God has given me a testimony that the world will not understand how I survive it. It is because of God and only God. What I found out is that all I ever needed was God. Then God brought to me the people that I needed at the time that I needed them. God took His word and manifested it right into what I was going through. My relationship with God is what is most important. My trails caused me to have my relationship with God. So I thank my enemies for being against me because they caused me to have the greatest blessing of all my personal relationship with God. People need to know when people are against you there are a few emotions involved. Jealousy, envy, greed and hatred. And usually the people that hurt you are people that you have helped and would give them anything. With God in the mist and the Holy Ghost with you God can take you back and show that these people never really were your friend and that they never really cared. That hurts because from your end you loved them and you cared. Once again God is good because He will remove them and replace them with people that are of Him to help you start to heal. What is even more funny is that God will bring people with the same name or similar name. I tell you what I know becasue that is what God did to me, and I'm still walking the walk. Please trust God. Look to God first. He will never fail you. I know because God has not failed me.
